Here’s how we’ve been rated
What we like about Alumio as a platform is that it’s flexible and that it can change or be modified to suit our evolving business needs. Instead of having to hear “This is how the system works, deal with it”, with Alumio whenever there are issues or roadblocks, they always get solved and that’s a good feeling to have.”
Geert Smit
COO, b-boo baby and lifestyle GmbH
Alumio gives us the ability to develop an integrated e-commerce platform that’s fast, flexible, and reliable. It helped us deeply integrate our custom ERP. A very flexible connection between systems makes Jac Hensen online much more agile for the future. We can’t wait to see what’s on the horizon for Alumio and Magento (Adobe Commerce).”

Integrating Dyka’s B2B landscape for a 360-degree view of processes in real-time
Dyka Group is a business unit of the Tessenderlo Group, which consists of three brands; DYKA, BT Nyloplast and JDP. They are the leading producers and distributors of plastic pipe systems, sewage systems and rainwater infiltration among many other services. Dyka are represented on a national and international pedestal with 19 branches in the Netherlands (with over 500 employees) in addition to representatives in Belgium, France, UK, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Romania. By transporting water, air and other energy sources in a reliable, efficient and sustainable way, they do their bit, for a better planet every day, which therefore alludes to their nickname of “Natures Network”.
Dyka & Alumio
As Dyka is responsible for producing and distributing essential services that help the environment, they opted to integrate with Alumio to maximize market efficiency (through the integration of twenty-two web services) in terms of customers, gain increasing control of their stock, deliveries, and services as well as finance, logistics, HR, product planning and customer service, that would be potentially linked together into a single, customizable system, run on a database of Dyka’s choice.
Solution & Reasoning
By connecting Dyka’s ERP (SAP S4 Hana) to their e-commerce platform (Magento 2) twenty-two web services were delivered which are needed for full B2B Commerce so that they could achieve a real-time and 360-degree view of all the ongoing processes within their company. Essentially, Dyka can now take control of every aspect of their organizational structure which creates a seamlessly scalable IT landscape that is ready for digital success. Several specific Magento B2B are developed to deal with real-time information delivered from Alumio’s SAP API Connector, such as B2B prices, order simulation calls, ATP available to process stock information, and much more. Thus, everything is monitored to ensure real-time insights are enforced to contribute to an increasingly robust platform that serves our planet in sustainably innovative ways.

Enabling future-proof ERP and e-commerce connectivity for Pelican Products
Situated in California, United States, employing over 1400 employees, Pelican Products specializes in the design and manufacture of protective case solutions and advanced portable lighting systems. Their product line includes coolers, phone cases, flashlights, and drinkware, to travel gear, and even backpacks. Devoting focus and resources to being sustainable, Pelican Products cases and lights are recyclable and produced to last a lifetime. In their quest to integrate their e-commerce platform with their SAP ERP system, Pelican Products discovered the Alumio integration platform. Apart from bringing over 10 years of experience in developing ERP connectivity to the project, Alumio also helped Pelican Products with its unique Alumio SAP API Plugin solution. The plugin significantly simplifies SAP integrations with SaaS and cloud apps for digital commerce.
Having initially connected their e-commerce platform built on Adobe Commerce with stand-alone accounting software, Pelican Products faced finance and inventory management errors. To tackle this issue and optimize their digital experience, they decided to integrate their e-commerce platform to their ERP, SAP ERP Core Component (SAP ECC). To help with this they brought Corra, a renowned system integrator in the United States, on board.
While researching the most effective way to create the complex e-commerce to ERP integration for Pelican Products, Corra encountered Alumio iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service). They decided that the Alumio integration platform and its powerful SAP API Plugin solution was the best option for them to build the SAP ECC to Adobe commerce integration while ensuring real-time data exchange.
How did the Alumio SAP API plugin speed up the ERP to e-commerce integration?
In close collaboration, Alumio, Corra, and Pelican Products meticulously approached the project to deliver the integration. Connecting an ERP like Pelican Products' SAP ECC with an e-commerce platform such as Adobe Commerce is challenging. This is because SAP ECC is an on-premises system, and by default, it lacks key B2B & B2C API points or web services required to integrate with SaaS and cloud apps effectively.
Alumio helped Pelican Products avoid what would usually be a long and expensive bespoke integration project. Using the Alumio API Plugin, they were able o directly install the required web services natively in SAP ECC, enhancing its integration capabilities. After configuring the SAP API Plugin, creating the full-blown Adobe Commerce to SAP ECC integration via the Alumio low-code integration platform was significantly easier.
How did the integration optimize Pelican Products' commerce experience?
The integration running through the Alumio iPaaS led to a more optimized and real-time e-commerce experience, giving Pelican Products centralized control over their data. This resulted in transparent, reliable, and real-time inventory levels. Now when an order is placed on the Pelican Products website, product availability and prices are synchronized and updated with the latest data available on the ERP. Detailed product information, real-time insights, and stock management are just some of the many other benefits resulting from the integration. More importantly, a proper order process was created to ensure real-time delivery and shipping updates to help their returns process, significantly improving the digital commerce experience for Pelican Products.
Having successfully established a seamless D2C channel for the US & Canada, Pelican Products decided to expand its digital operations in Europe from Spain. After building their future-proof integration with the Alumio iPaaS, they started working with a local system integrator to connect their EU e-commerce site to their SAP back office.

As a leading company in the Sim Racing hardware industry, Heusinkveld sells its renowned pedals, shifters, and handbrakes all over the world, partly by resellers, yet with a lot of their sales coming through their e-commerce webshop that was built on WooCommerce. In order to manage and streamline their online products, sales, and region-wise distribution better, Heusinkveld decided to implement Odoo as their main ERP for the integrated business solutions it offers.
The integration challenges that led Heusinkveld to choose Alumio
At this point, Heusinkveld had two key integration challenges that lead them to discover the Alumio integration platform:
1. They needed a effective integration solution:
Not wanting to change their e-commerce platform that was built on WooCommerce, Heusinkveld needed an integration solution to connect it with their Odoo ERP.
2. They needed flexible data control:
Heusinkveld wanted the flexibility to filter which products from their main inventory appeared on the webshop, and which products they synchronized the stock for between Odoo and WooCommerce.
Alumio - a cloud-native, low-code integration platform - specializing in e-commerce to ERP integrations already had a standard connection to rapidly integrate Heusinkveld’s WooCommerce webshop with their Odoo system. At the same time, to help expedite the configurations to connect both systems, Alumio also introduced Heusinkveld to BlueZebra, from its global network of Alumio integration partners. Being experts in building Odoo integrations using the Alumio integration platform, BlueZebra was able to immediately understand and translate all of Heusinkveld’s integration needs. The entire WooCommerce to Odoo integration, along with all the customizations that Heusinkveld required, was set up within a few months using the Alumio integration platform.
The integration solutions that Alumio provided Heusinkveld
With Alumio, Heusinkveld can now seamlessly filter and update the product data sent from Odoo to their webshop in real-time. The powerful data transformation features of Alumio also helps flexibly modify product data as it seamlessly passes from Odoo to the WooCommerce webshop via Alumio, and as fresh orders come in from the webshop to Odoo through Alumio.
Heusinkveld also built robust monitoring alerts with Alumio, in order to ensure that all the orders that come in through their webshop are properly reflected in Odoo. The monitoring system enables them to receive email alerts immediately if there are an errors, anomalies, or undetected orders across all their connected systems. Alumio also provides a powerful in-built logging system that helps keep track of every single data exchange, which immediately detects integration errors and API conflicts as well.
Building their integrations with the Alumio integration platform enables Heusinkveld to have all their connected systems and data on one scalable platform. This means they can easily replace their integrated systems or add new cloud apps or SaaS solutions, without any loss of data integrity. Also, by centralizing all their data and connections on one secure cloud space, Heusinkveld can now organize a future-proof IT ecosystem with Alumio.
“Alumio is a future-proof integration solution for us because it gives us the flexibility to add new systems and the possibility to replace our webshop in the future (without loss of data integrity), ensuring our Odoo connections will remain unaffected”
- Lolke Koopmans, Project Manager, Heusinkveld
