Jac Hensen is one of the largest retailers in the field of men's clothing, with twelve brick-and-mortar stores that parallel its successful online store. Their online channel ensures that the smaller stores can also offer the entire product range. On paper, the online store represents about twelve percent of the total turnover; however, in practice, the contribution of the online channel is much larger, with about thirty percent of the web orders coming from within their brick-and-mortar store. Having started with one store in Amersfoort, the company now inhabits twelve locations and one successful online shop, elucidating that Jac Hensen is as ambitious as ever.
Using the Alumio integration platform, Jac Hensen integrated their custom ERP, ePOS (ComfortFashion), and e-commerce (Adobe Commerce, formerly Magento 2). This entailed a full synchronization of their entire catalog with their e-commerce platform, including stock and availability. Orchestrating integrations via Alumio, Jac Hensen also set up an omni-channel orders process, refunds process, and delivery process that includes shipments and track and trace to e-commerce. At the same time, by centralizing all their data on their secure cloud-native Alumio environment, Jac Hensen is able to derive valuable reporting data to make better-informed decisions.
All data, orders, and stock, whether online or offline, are synced through Alumio, so the data is always up to date. While data exchange can bear a heavy load on the connected systems, Alumio is able to manage all data from integrated systems in a scalable way.
