About AFL Groep

AFL Groep are based in Noord Brabant, the Netherlands. The retail group has all consumables for logistics under one roof. As many companies deal with warehouses and distribution centers, they have a common understanding of the field of logistics and transport. Having all logistic purchases at one address is their specialty, alongside ensuring quality products, razor-sharp prices, expert advice, and personal services. Through their Dutch and Belgian web shops, you can do all your logistics in one place as they act as a total supplier for everything you need from warehouse and delivery.

Why AFL Groep chose Alumio

As AFL supports the maintenance of logistics and deliveries of warehouses and distribution centers of companies, it was of the utmost importance that they have a stable and working online environment so that they can service their clients. AFL chose WeProvide as their implementation partner to rebuild their Adobe Magento Commerce webshop for a more seamless online experience as well as a replacement for their previous middleware solution, which was shrouded by technical difficulties.

By connecting AFL’s ERP (Kerridge CS Unit 4 wholesale) to their e-commerce platform (Adobe Commerce Magento), they were able to synchronize orders, shipment, product stock, prices, and supplier information in real-time, streamlining their internal processes. Additionally, by connecting their ERP to Optiply (Automated Inventory Management), they were further able to sync supplier products, complete sales orders, product stock, purchase orders, and purchase delivery lines from Unit 4 to Optiply. As a result, AFL Groep now has a stable middleware solution that can quickly adapt to the needs of their business.

Thanks to our Alumio middleware solution, we are now able to automate many of our day-to-day business processes - as well as automating our inventory management. Additionally, as a logistics competitor we prevent waste by purchasing used pallets that lower CO2 emissions, which can be accredited to our newfound valued ecosystem”
