About Eichholtz

Founded in 1992 and based in the Netherlands, Eichholtz is one of the world’s most well-known and reputable B2B wholesalers of luxury design furniture, lighting, accessories, and indoor and outdoor furniture. The brand collaborates with leading manufacturers and producers worldwide to design and provide an unrivaled collection of stylish and refined products for the decoration market. With a portfolio that spans nearly 4,000 designs, Eichholtz caters to a large and diverse international clientele, which includes interior designers and stylists, high-end furniture and department stores, chic hotels, upscale restaurants, and more.

Why Eichholtz chose Alumio

In 2020, Eichholtz struggled to integrate its webshop with its e-commerce platform, Magento (now Adobe Commerce), and its ERP solution, Microsoft Dynamics Navision (now Dynamics 365 Business Central). Alumio was recommended through Eichholtz’s webshop provider, and the integration issues were quickly resolved, securing Eichholtz as a customer from that moment onwards.

What Alumio helped Eichholtz integrate

Alumio helped Eichholtz integrate all its core systems, which included its webshop, its e-commerce platform, Magento (now Adobe Commerce), its ERP solution, Microsoft Dynamics Navision (now Dynamics 365 Business Central), its PIM system, Inriver, as well as an EDI project than runs through the Alumio platform. In addition to integrating these systems, Alumio also helped Eichholtz transfer all the data to its webshop when they migrated from Dynamics Navision to Business Central since legacy system data migration is one of Alumio’s areas of expertise.

How Eichholtz used the Alumio platform

Besides integrating all its core systems and migrating its data from its legacy ERP system, Alumio helped Eichholtz automate its manual processes through seamless data transfers, eradicating the use of Excel sheets and time-consuming manual updates. Thanks to Alumio, Eichholtz was able to simplify complex and lengthy tasks, which, in turn, allowed them to focus on the core aspects of the business.

Additionally, Alumio enhanced Eichholtz's data visibility by providing a 360-degree view of its integrations and solid monitoring capabilities that help to identify and solve errors quickly. Eichholtz checks the Alumio dashboard daily to keep track of all its systems and ensure everything continues running smoothly.

Thanks to Alumio, Eichholtz now has an enhanced B2B e-commerce experience with swift and accurate data exchanges and improved data flow management, which ensures the webshop functions optimally and all product information is correct.

At Alumio, we look forward to accompanying Eichholtz on its growth journey and helping the brand achieve its full digital potential.
