Verfwinkel.nl is a leading paint and supplies retailer located in Helmond, Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands. With over 80 years of experience in the paint industry, they have built a solid foundation of quality and trust, which has resulted in their continued popularity to date. Verfwinkel.nl hosts paint products from some of the most well-known brands, such as Sikkens, History, Sigma, Flexa, and Wijzonol. From neutrals to colors and custom mixed paints, they supply professional paint to craftsmen and DIY individuals alike.

Why Verfwinkel.nl chose Alumio

As a leading Dutch paint supplier, Verfwinkel.nl wanted to build a scalable commerce ecosystem and streamline all its product information. Their default Akeneo to Magento connector that lacked customizability affected their product cycle, and in their search for a better solution to connect their systems they chose Alumio as their integration platform. The Alumio low-code integration platform (iPaaS) helped Verfwinkel build and organize its entire IT ecosystem in one secure cloud environment.

What Alumio helped Verfwinkel.nl integrate

Using the Alumio iPaaS to seamlessly integrate their ERP (Exact), their e-commerce platform (Adobe Commerce), and their PIM system (Akeneo), Verfwinkel.nl created a future-proof omnichannel experience for their customers. The integration helped revive and streamline the Verfwinkel.nl e-commerce platform, enabling them to effectively attain their product attributes, categories, simple and configurable products, credit memos, and much more. Adding to these integrations, Verfwinkel.nl also used the Alumio integration platform to connect Ceyenne, an effective WMS (Warehouse Management System), in order improve their process automation. This helped automate their stock control, as well as order processing, product picking, and shipping.

How Verfwinkel.nl used the Alumio platform

With the Alumio integration platform, Verfwinkel.nl now has access to end-to-end integrations that support its full product cycle. Base product details are created in Exact Online and sent via Alumio to be synchronized in Akeneo. After the product details are enriched in Akeneo with images, video, or text by the content team, they are sent to Adobe Commerce and Ceyenne through the Alumio iPaaS. Additionally, all sales are synchronized with Exact Online for proper fulfillment and financial reporting, which helps Verfwinkel.nl stay on track with all product information and sales.

Verfwinkel.nl also has its Adobe Commerce product feed running on Bol.com, Amazon.nl, and Google Shopping via the Alumio iPaaS, enabling an omni-channel experience. The orders come in from these marketplaces to the Adobe Commerce webshop and are sent via the Alumio iPaaS to the Ceyenne WMS, where the orders are packed, picked, and shipped through their integration with Post NL.

This way, Alumio continues to help Verfwinkel.nl to automate and streamline its entire product data, while providing a scalable solution to add more software solutions, cloud apps, or data sources in the future.
